A workshop on Negotiation was conducted by Delphine Bondu of Value Negotiation Co.
Negotiation is a skill we use daily, after all we are all negotiators, we are in contact with managers, subordinates, suppliers, clients, partners, spouses, friends everyday and we buy, sell and try to convince or influence and yet most of us are reluctant to negotiate.
Delphine helped the participants to examine some of the reasons we fail to succeed at it and guided them to understand the instances on when negotiations takes places and learn how to create value.This allowed participants to understand the concept of win-win negotiation and gain clarity on value creation - interest and position.
Delphine delivers workshops for multinationals and government-linked companies. Her extensive banking and finance background together with her expertise in strategic and business planning, cross department collaboration, project management, cross-cultural management adds valuable insights to her negotiation practice when assisting clients. Prior to becoming a negotiation consultant and coach, Delphine worked for a couple of start-ups and multinationals, including Continental AG and BNP Paribas. She serves on the boards of non-profit organizations in the field of learning and development such as the Association of Coaching Supervisors and Mentors (ACSM) and the Professional Women Network (WITC). She also delivers coaching for the MBA participants at INSEAD.
Delphine holds an MBA from PSB (Paris School of Business) and a bachelor’s in international business management from ESC Rouen Business School. Delphine is a professional integral coach certified by New Venture West and accredited by ICF. Having lived in France, US, Germany, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia, Delphine has acquired a good understanding of international and cross-cultural negotiations.
