Since Carrefour’s establishment in 1994, with the opening of the first store in Subang Jaya, Carrefour has always been optimistic about Malaysia. Through out the years, Carrefour have survived economic uncertaintie, global crisis and now the surge in oil prices.
Carrefour is still able to continue to grow within the past 12 years hence opened 10 stores; one store in Johor and Batu Pahat and Penang, whilst 7 store in Klang Valley; Subang Jaya, Mid Valley, Wangsa Maju, Cheras Jalan Peel, Sri Petaling, Putrajaya and NOW in Kepong!
The two storey building was opened on the 5th December 2006 by YB Datul Haji Mohd Shafie, Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affair in the presence of H.E Alain Du Boispean, French Ambbasador to Malaysia.
Carrefour Kepong covers 6.25 acres of land with a gross build up area of 19,884 square metres. It offers over 40 shops and eateries, recreation, customer friendly facilities including free parking space, with this shoppers can look forward to an exciting shopping experience.
