EUROCOPTER
Malaysia is a wholly owned subsidiary of EUROCOPTER, the world’s
largest helicopter manufacturer. Incorporated in August 2002,
EUROCOPTER Malaysia has progressed rapidly to establish itself as the
leading maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service center in
Malaysia. The center has also developed through its local vendor
development program, giving a new meaning to ‘Smart Partnership’.
Strategically
located at the former international airport of Kuala Lumpur in Subang
and equipped with a 50,000 square feet state-of-the-art facility,
EUROCOPTER Malaysia provides a broad spectrum of services ranging
from scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft
modifications,(retrofits, painting, interior refurbishment and
customization), as well as logistics support (spare parts, repairs
and overhaul). Ground handling services and hangarage are also
available.
A
dedicated team of more than 110 personnel is employed to support our
customers’ business in West Malaysia. To cater for customers in
East Malaysia, EUROCOPTER Malaysia has created additional facilities
in Miri and Kuching (Sarawak) to ensure close proximity to our
customer’s needs and to sustain the operations. New facilities will
be opened in Ipoh, Perak at the end of 2006.
To
meet stringent industry standards, EUROCOPTER Malaysia is approved
by local and international airworthiness authorities to perform
maintenance for all helicopters within the EUROCOPTER family. In
addition, EUROCOPTER Malaysia is approved to maintain various
fixed-wing aircraft and is the regional distributor and service
centre for the EADS SOCATA range of aircraft.

wide range of pre-owned helicopters and SOCATA fixed-wing aircraft
are available at our facility. Most of the pre-owned helicopters are
offered with full refurbishment associated warranty, and can be built
according to your specific requirements.
SIMULATOR
MANUFACTURING WITH IKRAMATIC SYSTEMS
We
are also involved in manufacturing of helicopter cockpits for
simulator

This process facilitates the transfer of technology from the
manufacturer to local personnel. Sale and promotion of these
simulators and systems within the Asia-Pacific region is also
undertaken by us.
VENDOR’S
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
ECM
undertakes the manufacture of various components such as helicopter
interiors, airframe and avionic parts, aircraft battery maintenance
