• Since it was founded 68 years ago, Turbomeca has accumulated experience of 83 million operation hours and manufactured over 50,000 turbines.

Helicopters

• Turbomeca is in pole position in the competitive world market for civil and para-public helicopters (EMS, frontier guards, police…). Offering the widest power range, from 450 to 3000 shp, the company equips the most famous helicopter brands in the helicopter market: Eurocopter, Sikorsky, Agusta, Denel, Kamov, Boeing, and also has 2,000 customer-operators over 140 countries.

• Turbomeca designs, develops and manufactures the Arrius, Arriel, Makila, TM 333 and Ardiden engines.

• The MTU-Turbomeca-Rolls-Royce co-operation has brought about the creation of the MTR390, powering the Tiger helicopter.

• This follows the success of Turbomeca and Rolls-Royce, which had already co-developed the RTM 322, which was first chosen for the NH 90, then put into service in the Apache and the EH 101 among others.

• The Company is also well known in the military market, since its engines have been powering the helicopters of many armies: Tiger, NH90, Agusta A109 Power, EH 101.

Aeroplanes

• Turbomeca also produces turbines for trainer and support aircraft (Jaguar, Hawk).

Turbojet engines

• Turbomeca’s subsidiary Microturbo manufactures turbo-jet engines for missiles and target drones, starters, aircraft auxiliary power units (APU) and ground power units (GPU).
