Connecting France with Sabah, CCIFM Business Networking Cocktail
On 23 June 2026, CCI France Malaysia successfully hosted the Connecting France with Sabah, CCIFM Business Networking Cocktail at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu. The event gathered more than 60 representatives from French companies in Malaysia and key Sabah state agencies, reflecting the growing engagement between the Malaysian and French business community in the region. 🇫🇷🇲🇾
The evening commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Richard Fostier, President of CCI France Malaysia. In his speech, he emphasised the importance of strengthening economic ties and fostering closer collaboration between French companies and Sabah’s public and private sector stakeholders. This was followed by an introduction from our new member and event sponsor, IEC TELECOM Malaysia, delivered by Mr. Hisham Ghaffar, Managing Director of IEC Telecom Malaysia.
The networking session continued in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, providing participants with the ideal platform to connect, exchange insights and strengthen bilateral business relationships. The event also offered participants the opportunity to engage ahead of the Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference & Exhibition (SOGCE), further reinforcing momentum for future collaboration and business development in the region.
