Morning Talk: e-Invoicing Briefing with Deloitte

As Malaysia strides confidently into the future with the 12th Malaysian Plan, businesses are gearing up for transformative changes in various sectors. Among these changes, is the adoption of electronic invoicing (e-invoicing), one of the key focuses on strengthening the digital services infrastructure and digitalizing the tax administration. 

It will enable near real-time validation and storage of transactions, catering to Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Consumer (B2C), and Business-to-Government (B2G) transactions.

CCIFM co-organized with MDBC, EuroCham Malaysia, ItalCham, and LaCamara on the e-invoicing requirements. The speaker, Mr. Larry James Sta Maria, Director-Indirect Tax, Deloitte Malaysia covered topics on the e-Invoicing overview, the Malaysian e-Invoicing model and deployment and lessons learned.
