Including Visit to Naza Automative Manufacturing @ Gurun & Innauguration United Caps @ Kulim
After the Southern Region Visit, CCIFM is organising another visit to the Northern Region. The morning session is a visit to Naza Automotive Manufacturing (NAM) plant in Gurun, Kedah. There will also be a presentation conducted by the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) on business opportunities in the Northern Region.
Afternoon session for those who are interested, they can join the Inauguration of United Caps.
About NAM
Naza Automotive Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (NAM), plant in Gurun, Kedah, is the first manufacturing hub in ASEAN for Groupe PSA. This manufacturing arm of the Naza Group was established in Gurun, Kedah in 2004. Groupe PSA will be exporting to ASEAN region under the new joint venture agreement between Groupe PSA and Naza Corporation Holdings. The assembly facility in NAM incorporates areas designated for body welding, painting (fully automated), assembly and pre-delivery inspection of the units and accessories.
About NCER
Established in 2007, Northern Corridor Economic Region encompasses four states in the Northern Region of Malaysia which are Perlis, Kedah, Pulau Pinang and Perak. The aim is to bring development in three economic clusters : Agriculture & Bio-Industry, Manufacturing and Services.
