Dear members and friends,

CCIFM in collaboration with Malaysian Dutch Business Council will be organizing a visit to the southern region. The program will be divided in to two different industrial sector, Oil & Gas and Aeronautic. 

The morning will be dedicated to the Oil & Gas with a visit to Pengerang Industrial Park and PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) located in the heart of Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC).

The afternoon session will be dedicated to the Aeronautic sector and includes a visit to Helang Flying Academy, military and civil rotary wing flight training center and a presentation by Senai Airport City. Participants will be able to experience flight simulation as part of the tour. 

About RAPID/ PIC
Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) is one of the largest of its kind in the world, constructed at a single time. At the heart of PIC, is the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project with a 300,000 barrels-per-day (BPD) refinery. It also includes a petrochemical complex with a combined 3.609 million metric tons-per-year production capacity, with facilities that comprise a 1,220 megawatt cogeneration plant, 3.5 million metric tons-per-year regasification terminal, deep water terminal, air separation unit and raw water supply...more

10:45 am        Depart to PETRONAS Pengerang Integrated Complex  (PIC) 
11:00 am        Arrival @ PETRONAS Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC)                                        Presentation by PIC (20 mins) Site Visit of PIC ( 90 mins)
13:00 pm        Lunch hosted @ PIC Clubhouse 
14:00 pm        Depart to Senai

Afternoon Session : Aeronautics
15:00 pm        Arrival at Helang Flying Academy
15:10 pm        Welcome and presentation by Helang Flying Academy (20 min)
15:30 pm        Briefing by Senai Airport team (20 mins)
15:50 pm        Site tour Helang Flying Academy (TBA)

Transportation will be provided to and forth from Senai Airport ( Senai Airport - Pengerang - Senai Airport) . Bus departs from Senai Airport at 8.45 am
