CCIFM & PERKESO held a briefing on the 24-Hour Protection Scheme (Lindung 24 Jam), sharing social security & compliance updates with members.

On 4 August 2026, CCI France Malaysia hosted a briefing session in collaboration with PERKESO on the Non-Occupational Accident Scheme (24-Hour Protection Scheme – Lindung 24 Jam), providing members and business representatives with insights into PERKESO’s latest social security protection and employee benefits updates.

During the session, PERKESO presented an overview of the Lindung 24 Jam Scheme, introduced on 5 March 2026, which provides 24-hour protection against non-occupational accidents. The briefing covered key aspects of the scheme, including its mandatory implementation for foreign workers and expatriates, optional participation for Malaysian citizens, coverage beyond working hours, PERKESO’s latest initiatives, service enhancements, and the MyFutureJobs platform.

The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, allowing participants to gain further clarification on statutory requirements, scheme implementation, and its implications for employers and employees.
