Career Development Job Matching
On 12th June 2025, CCIFM hosted the Career Development Job Matching event at Alliance Française Kuala Lumpur, in conjunction with France-Malaysia Innovation Day and Alumni Day by the French Embassy. This speed job dating-style initiative aimed to connect French companies operating in Malaysia with high-potential Malaysian alumni who had studied in France. The event focused on bridging the gap between talent and opportunity, offering companies a streamlined way to meet experienced candidates with a strong grasp of both French and Malaysian cultures.
Throughout the day, each participating company was provided with a dedicated booth and had the opportunity to conduct pre-booked interviews with alumni. This format facilitated focused, efficient conversations and helped companies identify promising candidates across various fields in particular engineering, business, and political science. The event also allowed employers to showcase their corporate values and career opportunities while expanding their professional networks.
The attending alumni, equipped with international academic backgrounds and 1-2 years of work experience, brought unique insights and cross-cultural competencies to the table. This initiative reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment in supporting the HR needs of French businesses in Malaysia while fostering stronger connections between education, industry, and innovation.
