Delegation Visit to the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ)

A day of meaningful engagement and cross-border collaboration Malaysia-Singapore.

CCI France Malaysia was part of the delegation led by French Embassy in Malaysia, for an insightful visit to the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ). We were joined by our colleagues from French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS), alongside the Embassy of France in Singapore, and the French Foreign Trade Advisors.

The programme showcased the dynamism and strategic potential of Johor through key site visits, including Port of Tanjung Pelepas, with valuable insights shared by CEVA Logistics, as well as Decathlon’s warehouse and the DayOne data centre in Kempas.

Engaging discussions with Invest Johor, Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) & IMFC-J, further highlighted the strong momentum and shared ambitions driving this unique cross-border initiative.

This visit reflects the strength of regional cooperation and the growing opportunities within the JS-SEZ, an increasingly strategic hub for investment, innovation, and sustainable growth. 

We were also pleased to reconnect with our counterparts from Singapore and valued members such as UOB, reinforcing the importance of a connected and collaborative French business community across the region.
