Economic Outlook and Developments with World Bank

This outlook session with the World Bank emphasized Malaysia’s economic trends and IFC’s role in sustainable growth, private sector, and investment.

CCI France Malaysia, in collaboration with BeluxCham Malaysia, the Malaysian Spanish Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Malaysia, jointly organised the Economic Development and Outlook Session with the World Bank, placing a special emphasis on the role and initiatives of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Malaysia. 

Our speakers, Mr. Deisigan Shammugam, Economist at World Bank, and Ms. Amanda Tan, Senior Country Officer for IFC in Malaysia, provided valuable insights into Malaysia’s economic landscape, emerging trends, and the IFC’s contribution to sustainable growth, private sector development, and investment opportunities in the country.
