Morning Talk: How can AI in Finance bring value to organizations?
The Morning Talk on 22nd April 2025 at the CCIFM Business Center focused on how AI is bringing real value to the finance world. The session showed how AI has been helping companies automate tasks, improve compliance, and drive digital transformation.
Participants learned how AI had been used to speed up financial processes, improve cash flow, and support better decision-making using data. Real-life examples showed how AI can reduce manual work, lower errors, and save time.
The talk also covered how AI helps solve key finance challenges, like reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), managing risks, and staying compliant with regulations. It also highlighted how finance roles are changing thanks to AI, with teams becoming more efficient and better supported.
Steven Fok, Business Development Manager at Esker Asia, led the session. With experience in digital transformation and process automation, he shared useful tips and examples from his work helping companies improve their finance and procurement operations.
