On 26th of September, we gathered more than 250 members of the Malaysian-French business community at the Back to Work Cocktail. The event is an occasion to welcome the newcomer to the business community, the “rentrée” as the French would say.
The evening started with a welcome speech from Gilles Waeldin, the CCIFM President who gave a quick update on the chambers activities and the business outlook for the last quarter of the year, he also introduced the new members. This was followed by the speech from the French Ambassador, H. E. Frederic Laplanche. He introduced the newcomers to the French public sector and the activities of the various department of the French Embassy.
The night ended with a lucky draw, where the prizes are a Coffee Machine from Nespresso sponsored by Lyreco, a stay at Club Med Cherating by Club Med, and a flight ticket to Paris sponsored by Air France.
