As you are aware, Malaysia is starting to look like a vastly different place. Something that may have seemed like a “foreign” problem is now here, as rising Coronavirus infections has led to school closures, mandates to work from home, travel restrictions, cancellation of major sports and entertainment events as well as empty store shelves and streets. 

In light of the current Coronavirus outbreak, Ipsos will be looking into the Malaysian consumer confidence and how it reflects attitudes towards the current and future state of the economy, people’s financial situation, savings, and confidence to make large investments.
