How has your company contributed to Malaysia’s economy, local talent, or local ecosystem?

ATA Services Malaysia contributes to Malaysia’s business ecosystem by helping local and international companies establish and grow their operations in the country. Through our integrated business solutions, including company setup, accounting and payroll, recruitment, Employer of Record, and office solutions, we make it easier for businesses to enter the Malaysian market and build a sustainable local presence.

Our recruitment and staffing capabilities also help companies access Malaysian talent and create employment opportunities, while our local expertise supports international businesses as they establish their operations in Malaysia. As part of a regional group with operations across six Asian markets, we also help strengthen Malaysia’s position as a strategic base for companies looking to expand into the wider Southeast Asian market.

By supporting businesses from market entry through day-to-day operations and growth, ATA contributes to a more accessible and connected business environment for companies operating in Malaysia.

Can you tell us about a flagship project your company is currently leading or has recently completed in Malaysia?

Our current flagship investment is the development of the ATA Services Business Centre at KL Trillion Tower in Kuala Lumpur.

We are developing approximately 500 sqm of office facilities, combining serviced offices, meeting and conference facilities and space for our own Malaysian operations.

The centre has been designed as more than simply an office rental location. Our objective is to create a one-stop business hub where foreign investors and companies entering Malaysia can access both physical office infrastructure and the professional services required to operate their business.

A company establishing itself in Malaysia can therefore work with one partner for its office, company incorporation, accounting, payroll, employment solutions, recruitment and other corporate requirements.

This represents an important investment for ATA Services and demonstrates our confidence in Malaysia as a long-term business destination.

Did this project involve innovation, technology transfer, or collaboration with local stakeholders?

Digitalization is an important component of our Malaysian development.

ATA Services has developed its own digital platforms for areas such as payroll, employee management, invoicing and electronic document/signature workflows, and we are progressively deploying this technology within our Malaysian operations.

Our objective is to combine local Malaysian expertise with the systems, processes and technology that ATA Services has developed through its activities elsewhere in Asia.

At the same time, we are building a local team and working with Malaysian professionals and suppliers so that the operation remains firmly anchored in Malaysia rather than being managed simply as an overseas extension of another office.

In what ways has CCIFM supported your business development or expansion in Malaysia and/or France?

As a French-led group expanding its activities in Malaysia, ATA Services values the role played by CCIFM in connecting the French and Malaysian business communities.

The Chamber provides an important platform for networking, exchanging market knowledge and developing relationships with companies already established in Malaysia as well as new investors entering the market.

For ATA Services, this ecosystem is particularly relevant because our own objective is to facilitate business development between France, Malaysia and the wider ASEAN region.

We are pleased to participate actively in the Malaysian-French business community and look forward to strengthening our collaboration with CCIFM as our Malaysian operations continue to grow.
