The CCIFM was proud to gather the Malaysian-French business community on the occasion of the “Back to Work” Cocktail. For many of us the summer break just ended and this was the “rentrée” as the French say. We welcomed close to 200 paxs for an evening of good wine and great food specially prepared by Nathalie Gourmet Studio. Mr. Richard Fostier, the CCIFM President gave a welcome speech and introduced the new members to the community. He also presented our new 1MK Incubator. Located at Mont Kiara, it is aimed as incubator for French SME startups & entrepreneurs. This was followed by speech by H.E Christophe Penot, who spoke on the dynamism of the French community in Malaysia and the French Embassy’s collaboration with the CCIFM. This was followed by a short presentation on the “Marché de Noël ‘’ which will take place on the 24th November 2016. “Marché de Noël” is a French Charity Christmas Bazaar that aims to gather vendors with trendy, exclusive, yet affordable products for a day, in a unique environment. In 2015 they raised more than RM 180,000 for Make-A-Wish-Malaysia and A-Heart-For-A Heart foundation ! For more information, please visit their Facebook page Le Marche de Noel . We also had on board Ms. Alexandra Le Vaillant of Eponyme, updating us on one of its kind French guide in Malaysia “Le Guide”.
