GAMA is a historic department store located in George Town, Penang, Malaysia, and is the oldest of its kind in the state, having opened in 1967. Originally founded as the Pulau Pinang Supermarket by entrepreneur Chang Cheng Guan, it was relocated to its current site on Dato Keramat Road in 1980 and renamed GAMA. Spanning seven floors, the store offers a wide range of products, including apparel, accessories, and home appliances. Despite competition from nearby shopping malls, GAMA retains a loyal customer base due to its competitive pricing and central location opposite Komtar, making it easily accessible for shoppers.
