Introducing New ESD Online Features in Facilitating Expatriate Pass Processing, Effective 1 July 2024
What is the change?
Effective 1 July 2024, the ESD portal is now equipped with features to complete the following immigration processes online:
- Amendment of Approved Application
- Shorten of Pass
- Cancellation of Application
- Transfer of Endorsement (TE) / Take-up Balance (TuB)
- Permission to Study
- Permission to Work at a Second Location
Henceforth, no physical submissions at ESD’s offices nationwide will be allowed as the abovementioned applications can now take place online. Information regarding the process changes are summarised by in a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document.
