Malaysia Digital Series: Digital Transformation

CCI France Malaysia in collaboration with The Swiss Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (SMCC), and the Malaysian Spanish Chamber of Commerce & Industry (La Camara) organised a talk on Malaysia Digital Series: Digital Transformation on 20 July at MDEC.

Dr Sumitra Nair, Vice-President of Talent Development and Digital Entrepreneurship at MDEC gave an update on Digital Malaysia. Malaysia Digital is a national strategic initiative by the government to encourage and attract companies, talents and investment while enabling Malaysian businesses and Rakyat to play a leading part in the global digital revolution/digital economy.

Digital Malaysia aims to 

  • Help to drive digital adoption among aspiring young entrepreneurs, companies and the Rakyat.
  • Support local tech companies to become “Malaysian Champions” – successful international players.
  • To attract high-value investments

We also welcomed Manoj Menon Founder and CEO of twimbit, to share his insight on the Future of Work.  twimbit is on a mission to leverage the power of research and help every learner with the industry know-how they need to excel in today’s hyper competitive markets.

Manoj also moderated the interactive panel session with Izabela Sosnicka-Lipa from Roche, Vicks Kanagasingam representing La French Tech and Jordi Pol, BCN Smart Technologies. The panellist shares their digital transformation journey and impact it had on the organisation, the challenges and oppportunities. 

Digital transformation is revolutionizing the way we work and companies operate. Systems, processes, workflow, and culture are all part of this process and the key is agility, adaptiveness and the seamless way organizations bring together data across areas to work together more effectively.
