MITI Application for Companies to Continue Operation During the Movement Control Order (MCO)
The Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has engaged with various stakeholders including business and industry associations, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and other relevant Ministries and agencies, including MOH and 2 the National Security Council (NSC), to identify and review additional economic sectors that could be allowed to operate.

English Translation of the Annex
Applications for companies to continue operation during the movement control order (MCO) via MITI portal - http://miti.gov.my will open from today Monday, April 13th at 9.00 am. Below are few key points : -
- All companies are to apply through MITI’s new platform
- New approval letters will come with QR code, therefore companies that have received prior approvals are encouraged to re-apply through the new platform
- Companies that are pending MITI’s approval are also encouraged to do the same
- Companies that wish to increase current capacity must also apply and will be required to submit the full list of workers
- All supplementary services, e.g. distributors, warehouse, e-commerce etc, which applied and were approved through the MDTCA will also need to apply through MITI
