National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) by MOSTI

CCI France Malaysia was part of the briefing conducted by Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, YB Khairy Jamaluddin, in a session organised by InvestKL on 22 July. Below are some of the key highlights of the session.

The entire adult population in Malaysia is to be fully vaccinated by November 2021.
100% of the adult population in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur to receive at least one dose by 1 August under Operation Surge Capacity, including those registered under PIKAS*.
Announcements will be made in a week’s time or two regarding quarantine requirements for expatriates who have been fully vaccinated abroad.
Vaccination programmes with other ministries such as PIKAS with MITI, the transport sector with the Ministry of Transport, the construction sector with CIDB and the Ministry of Works, and others will be ramped up in August.
