Peugeot Motocycles Opens First Flagship Experience Centre in Penang
CCIFM Member Peugeot Motocycles has officially marked its retail debut in Malaysia with the opening of its first flagship Experience Centre in Bukit Tambun, Penang, further strengthening the brand’s presence following its recent entry into the Malaysian market. The launch was held in partnership with Chuan Keat Motor Trading Sdn. Bhd. and welcomed key industry representatives, including Laurent Lilti and YB TPr Goh Choon Aik, State Assemblyman for Bukit Tambun.
The new flagship Experience Centre represents Peugeot Motocycles’ first official retail showroom in Malaysia and serves as an important milestone in the brand’s nationwide expansion strategy. The opening ceremony also celebrated Peugeot Motocycles Malaysia’s first customer bookings for the XP400 GT premium crossover scooter and the Speedfight 4+ urban sporty scooter, reflecting strong early interest from Malaysian riders.
During the event, Laurent Lilti highlighted Malaysia’s growing appetite for premium urban mobility solutions and noted that the enthusiastic response from customers demonstrates strong confidence in the brand’s legacy of French design, innovation, and performance.
The Bukit Tambun flagship outlet is fully equipped with a dedicated service centre, spare parts department, accessories section, and branded merchandise area, providing customers with a comprehensive ownership experience. Visitors at the launch event were also given the opportunity to test ride several Peugeot Motocycles models, including the XP400 GT, Django, and Speedfight 4+. In conjunction with the opening, exclusive early bird packages were introduced for the first 30 customers.
To further support customers nationwide, Aveta International confirmed that Peugeot Motocycles owners in Malaysia will benefit from the “Aveta Care on Wheels” mobile service network, ensuring seamless aftersales support and customer care.
The Penang flagship marks the first phase of Peugeot Motocycles Malaysia’s wider retail expansion, with nine additional exclusive dealerships planned across Johor, Klang Valley, Kedah, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, and Pahang throughout 2026.
