Updates on ISKANDAR Region Development & RAPID project

The state of Johor, located at the Southern tip of the Malaysian Peninsula, is one of the main contributor to the Malaysian Economy with its development engineered by the set-up of the ISKANDAR Region, which has received so far some 45 billion Euros of Direct investment since its establishment in 2006 and bound to see its population reach 3 million by 2025.

Its attractiveness is further enhanced by the implementation, started in 2011, of the RAPID project part of the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC), a mammoth Oil & Gas related project of 15 billion Euros located in the Eastern part of the state and facing Singapore.

CCI FRANCE MALAYSIA is inviting you to join us for the upcoming visit taking place on Wednesday 18 May 2016, under the following program:

1) Visit to Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC):
10h30 : Meeting at JPDC information centre Pengerang for briefing by JPDC and PETRONAS.
12h00 : Network lunch in Sungai Rengit with JPDC, PETRONAS and DIALOG.
13h30 : Meeting with DIALOG at their Pengerang site office.
14h30 : End of program - participants will go back to Johor Bahru for ISKANDAR-MIDA Briefing.

2) ISKANDAR - MIDA Briefing in Johor Bahru
16h00 : Registration of guests - Tentative venue : HOLIDAY VILLA JOHOR BAHRU
16h30 : CCIFM introduction and update on French business in Malaysia and Southern Region.
16h45 : IRDA Presentation on the development and opportunities in the ISKANDAR Region.
18h00 : MIDA Presentation on Investment opportunities in the state of Johor and the ISKANDAR Region.
18h30 : Dialogue IRDA-MIDA,JPDC and French companies established in Malaysia and Singapore.
19h30 : Networking cocktail - tentative venue : HOLIDAY VILLA JOHOR BAHRU
