TERREAL opens a new factory in Kluang in Malaysia

A brand new factory just opened its doors at Kluang, Johor. Named Kluang 3, this new production unit of 2,700 m² manufactures Zen Tiles, a unique flat pressed mineral tiles. Zen tile series which soon become the reference in term of aesthetic and performance.
This 2.4 million euros investment is an answer increasing market demand in Asia Previously manufactured by an external partner who ceased its activity in 2016, the tile Zen henceforth takes a new twist. Its production will be externalized within a dedicated factory. The project is launched and in only one year, the first tile Zen was produced at Kluang 3.

With this new factory, TERREAL complements its tile range intended for the Asian market. In taking charge of the manufacturing from A to Z, the quality monitoring and the adaptability to customers' demand will be reinforced. The production capacity will also be much more important until 1,8 million pieces each year.
