Webinar: Sarawak - Business and Investment Opportunities

CCIFM organized a webinar on business and investment opportunities in Sarawak. The webinar allowed participants to engage with state agencies and stakeholders such as Sarawak Chamber of Commerce (SCCI), Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA) and Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC) to gain insights into investment prospects.

One of the highlights of the webinar was the discussion on Sarawak's advantageous geographical position for global accessibility. Moreover, key sectors aligning with Sarawak's development strategies were discussed, providing participants with a deeper understanding of investment opportunities and potential collaborations in the coming future.

Our speakers, Datuk Philip Ting from Sarawak Chamber of Commerce, Calvin Yeo from Recoda as well as Dr. Charlie Yeo from Sarawak Biodiversity Centre showcased the potential investment prospects and highlighted the region's resources and infrastructure. Additionally, Emily Rolanda UOB Bank gave a testimony regarding the presence in Sarawak and on their Foreign Direct Investment Advisory Unit making participants know Sarawak is well developed for foreign investments.

The webinar served as a valuable resource for participants to make informed decisions regarding their business ventures in Sarawak.
