Amanda TanSenior Country Officer, International Finance Corporation

Amanda is the Senior Country Officer for IFC in Malaysia, covering all sectors and products for IFC’s operations in Malaysia. Prior to IFC, she was an Investment Specialist with the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Private Sector Operations Department where she led deals in the health and education sectors. Amanda began her career at ADB as a Young Professional and worked in various capacities across ADB’s sovereign and private sector operations. Prior to ADB, she undertook diverse roles, including Economist and Bank Supervisor at the Central Bank of Malaysia.

Amanda holds a master’s degree in Public Affairs with a concentration in Economics and Public Policy, along with a certificate in Health and Health Policy from Princeton University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research: Financial Engineering from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
