16th July 2019: Home and Human Resource ministries both responsible for managing foreign workers
After the HR Ministry denied its responsibility in managing the foreign workers in a report on the surplus of Bangladeshi workers in Malaysia published on Monday, July 8th, the Home Ministry declared that managing foreign workers is the role of both the Home Ministry and the Human Resources Ministry.
