A Greener Tomorrow: CCIFM’s Tree Planting Initiative at the Gala 2024

400 trees planted in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary as part of CCIFM’s commitment to sustainability and biodiversity

Empowering Communities, Inspiring Changes

At the CCIFM Malaysia-France Gala Night on 4th November 2024, CCIFM marked a significant milestone by planting 400 trees in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary in Sabah—one for each guest. This initiative, executed with the support of APE Malaysia, our on-ground partner, demonstrates our commitment to preserving Malaysia’s biodiversity and strengthening its ecosystem for future generations

Attendees received personalized certificates for their tree, symbolizing their contribution to the cause. These trees will be cared for over the next four years, enhancing the region’s natural heritage.

Held at Hilton Kuala Lumpur, the gala celebrated the robust Franco-Malaysian trade relations, with France ranking as Malaysia’s 3rd-largest trading partner within the EU. As part of CCIFM’s ongoing CSR Initiatives, the tree planting effort underscores our dedication to sustainable development and environmental preservation. CCIFM continues to lead with impactful projects that inspire positive change across various sectors.
