This was followed by the speech from the new French Ambassador, H.E Frederic Laplanche, the ambassador introduce the newcomers to the French public sector and the activities of the various department of the French Embassy.

The event was a true testimony of the French presence is Malaysia, the latest edition is the "Le Guide" published  both and French and English was distributed, there was  update on “Le Marché de Noel” as leading French Bazaar and the display of the latest model of Peugeot 2008 SUV.

The night ended with a lucky draw, lucky ones could won a Coffee Machine from Nespresso, sponsored by Lyrec, a stay at Club Med Bintan, by Club Med and a flight ticket to  Paris sponsored by Air France.
