Each year, the “Institut de Recherche sur l’Asie du Sud-Est Contemporaine” (IRASEC) based in Bangkok mobilises over 20 researchers on a study of Southeast Asia. The detail of this study is than published as a book that provides a summary and detailed analysis on the main political, economic and social events that occurred in 2018 in each of the eleven countries of the region. It also addresses five topics dealt at the regional level.
