CCI France Malaysia Welcomes New Board of Directors at its 33rd Annual General Meeting
CCI France Malaysia successfully held its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, 19 September 2025 at MIDA Sentral in Kuala Lumpur. The meeting, chaired by our President Richard Fostier, supported by our Managing Director David Attar, welcome a strong turnout of members of the Chamber to reflect on the chamber’s activities for the past year, review its financial performance, and set the course for the year ahead.
A key highlight of the AGM was the election of the new Board of Directors. We extend our gratitude to all nominees for their commitment and the quality of their candidacies. The 12 newly elected Board members will serve a three-year mandate, from September 2025 to September 2028, steering the Chamber into its next phase of growth and further reinforcing Franco-Malaysian business relations.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our deepest appreciation to Mr. Pierre Cheyron from ENGIE, who is retiring from the Board after an outstanding 18 years of dedicated service to CCI France Malaysia. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Cheyron has been a steadfast advocate for strengthening Franco-Malaysian business relations and has contributed significantly to the Chamber’s growth. His commitment and valuable insights have left a lasting mark on the Chamber and we are sincerely grateful for his many years of contribution and support.
The AGM outlined upcoming initiatives designed to further support the French and Malaysian business communities. CCI France Malaysia remains committed to empowering its members, creating opportunities for collaboration and driving sustainable growth.
