CCIFM 26th Gala Night with the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia

CCI France Malaysia (CCIFM) gathered the French and Malaysian business community on 13th May 2016 at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur for its 26th Annual Gala Dinner. The aimed of the dinner is to reinforce trade relationships between France and Malaysia by bringing together major French companies in Malaysia and their Malaysian collaborators and partners for an eventful evening.
Over 400 guests were welcomed by Mr. Richard Fostier, President of CCIFM, H.E Christophe Penot, French Ambassador to Malaysia in the presence of the Guest of Honour, The Honorable YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister, Malaysia.
The chamber took the opportunity of the 26th Annual Gala Dinner to show recognition to members and presented selected members companies with the CCIFM Excellence Award 2016.
Every year French companies from various sectors are given recognition for their achievement and contribution toward the Malaysian French Business Community. These companies are awarded during the Annual Gala Dinner of CCIFM. The aim of the CCIFM Excellence Award is to recognize the achievement of French & Malaysian companies/ individuals for their contribution towards the development of bilateral trade between Malaysia and France.
The award also encourages and acknowledges the continuous improvement, innovation and creativity of French & Malaysian companies/individuals to enhance their local and global competitiveness.
The following companies were awarded during the CCIFM 26th Annual Gala Dinner
Award for category “Corporate Social Responsibility” recipient Sanofi Pasteur.
Award for category “France-Malaysia Smart-Partnership” recipient Sunway Le Cordon Bleu Sdn Bhd.
Award for category “Image of France” recipient Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur.
Award for category “Outstanding Achievement - Large Company” recipient Airbus Group.
Award for category “Outstanding Achievement-SME” recipient Nathalie Gourmet Studio.
The evening was enlivened by fascinating entertainments with the godfather of Malaysian standup comedy Harith Iskander, renowned singer Ning Baizura and object manipulation show by Psycusix. Student from Lycee Francais de Kuala Lumpur and Young Choral Academy sang “Negaraku” the Malaysian national anthem and La Marseillaise, the national anthem of France in a truly Malaysian-French spirit and the event smoothly cruised along with the Emcee of the day, Hafiz Hatim.
Lucky guest walked away with fabulous lucky draw gift, from Decathlon, Club Med, Tempting Places and an Air France Business Class return flight tickets to Paris.
