France Roadshow with MIDA and IRDA
In partnership with CCI Lyon Metropole, CCI Paris Ile de France, CCI International Hauts de France, and CCI International Provence Alpes Cote-d’Azur, CCIFM organized a roadshow with Malaysian Investment Development Authorities (MIDA) and Iskandar Regional Development Authorities (IRDA) in Paris, Lyon, Lille and Marseille from 9th to 13th Oct 2017 to present business market and investment opportunities in Malaysia for French companies.
Approximately 50 companies from different regions of France attended this roadshow. Apart from the presentation from MIDA and IRDA and the attractiveness of the Malaysia as business destination and incentives given the government to attract and support foreign investment, there was a presentation on the tax and legal aspect of doing business in Malaysia by Philippe Girard-Foley & Associates. The ended with networking cocktail and B2B meetings.
In Lyon, two of CCIFM members (Vibratech and Yellaw) shared their testimonial on their experience and business journey in Malaysia. Vibratech is a company that has successfully established in Malaysia since 2011 and Yellaw is specialized in international law and legal procedure is based in France.
In Lille, we had the opportunity to meet the President and Director of World Trade Center Lille & Aras, there was roundtable meeting and presentation between the delegates and participating companies, followed by a trip to EuraTechnologies and d’Urbawood.
The roadshow ended in Marseille, with round table meeting with Honorary Consul of Malaysia and about 10 participating companies who have shown interest in doing business in Malaysia.
