iESG Workshop with MITI

The recent seminar on the iESG framework, attended by 70 industry professionals, provided valuable insights into enhancing ESG practices and aligning with Malaysia's New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 and New Investment Policy (NIP).

The session featured expert speakers, including Mr. Stéphane Bernard, Country Manager of Oleon Klang Sdn Bhd; Mr. Kah Seng, R&D and Sustainability Director at Saint-Gobain (a member of CCIFM); and Mr. Florian Herrmann, Vice President & CFO of Infineon Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd. They shared real-world examples of their companies’ ESG journeys, offering practical strategies to tackle ESG challenges and turn them into business opportunities.

The event included networking lunch at MITI, providing attendees with the chance to deepen their understanding of ESG practices and connect with peers. This collaborative session highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships and the role of business leaders in driving sustainable change and was co-organised with Malaysia Belgium Luxembourg Business Council (BeluxCham) and Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCC).
