Investment Opportunities for French Companies in Selangor & Networking Dinner

The highlight was on Selangor during this year’s Seminaire De Reflexion 2022. We were honoured to welcome YB Dato' Teng Chang Khim, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Industry &Trade along with the Chief Executive Officer of Invest Selangor, Dato' Hasan Azhari bin Hj. Idris who shared information on the steps taken by Selangor to stimulate growth and increase business forward and investment friendly initiatives.

Selangor is a prime investment location in Malaysia and an ideal gateway to the ASEAN markets. It is the country’s primary port of entry and is strategically located around the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. As Malaysia’s largest economy, Selangor enjoys a highly developed infrastructure for major industry clusters and is a well‐established investment haven backed by excellent state government support and an advanced commercial ecosystem. It is also known for its highly skilled and innovative knowledge‐workforce as well as an attractive cosmopolitan living standard.

We also welcomed two French companies based in Selangor to give their testimonials. A big thanks to Ivan Tay, Senior Manager-Marketing at  Saint Gobain Group  and Eric Vavasauer, Managing Director at Petzl Malaysia for insights.

The events gathered more than 100 representatives of French companies in Malaysian and ended with a “Buka Puasa” session with Invest Selangor.
