CCIFM, in collaboration with the Swiss Malaysia Business Council and Malaysian Norwegian Business Council jointly organized a Morning Talk titled Digital Malaysia at MDEC Cyberjaya today.

In this talk, we had Mr. Hew Wee Choong, VP, Investment and Industry Development of MDEC. In his talk, he shared about the economic climate of Malaysia and what Malaysia has to offer for foreign investors.

Our second speaker was Mr. Jonas Engwall, Head of Asia for Iflix.  His talk highlighted on how Malaysia has helped Iflix grow from a startup to expanding to more than 6.5 million subscribers in approximately 30 countries worldwide.

Lastly, Mr. Georg Chmiel, the chairman of iCar Asia talked about e-marketplace and its importance in connecting sellers and suppliers directly to the consumers, completely eliminating the need for a middle person especially in the automotive and real estate industry.
