Dear members & friends,

As part our collaboration with EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUMCCI), we will bring you the first In Conversation With Series for 2017.

The recent ruling of Bank Negara that requires exporters to convert 75% of the foreign currency proceeds has been a hot topic among member companies.

The foreign exchange administration rules is made in order to accelerate the development of the Malaysian financial market and to promote financial stability. In the new measures, it was stated that exporters are now only allowed to retain up to 25% of export earnings in foreign currency. There has been a mixed review on this topic and we would like you to join us for a dialogue session with panels of experts from Bank Negara & EU on how this new ruling will impact your business.
