Sagemcom is a French group and European leader on the high added-value smart terminals market (set-top boxes, internet boxes, multi-energy smart meters, etc.). The Group’s turnover totals $2.5 billion and has a headcount of 4,000 employees working in more than 40 countries. Sagemcom designs, manufactures and ships more than 25 million terminals worldwide every year.

Formerly the communication branch of SAGEM, Sagemcom is now a private independent Group held by the Charterhouse, as well as employees (30%).

The Group is headed by a stable management team whose members have been present in the Group for more than 20 years and have been managing Sagemcom since it left the Safran group in 2008.

Headed by Eric Rieul, Sagemcom Energy & Telecom SAS concentrates the Sagemcom expertise in telecom and metering services. It provides customized connected systems to utilities, telecom operators and services operators worldwide. Sagemcom has had over 40 years of experience in design and rollout of telecom infrastructure in across three continents – Europe, Asia, and Africa.

We are deploying worldwide turnkey telecom projects for more than 35 years, having Telecommunication DNA background.

Thanks to the talents of the R&D of the Group (600 engineers within HQ site and additional 550 all around the world) and its industrial capacities (5 manufacturing centers – more than 23M of units/year).

Sagemcom Energy & Telecom has developed a comprehensive Smart Solar/Hybrid Power Solution and Smart Services (Operation & Maintenance, Sites Network Audit, Energy Design & Optimization) for Remote Areas / Villages.
